I’ll stand by you - Filed Under Family

2 Mar 2010

Hey! Long time no see, huh? This time I was gone for a fair reason.

Sad, but hopefully with a happy ending :) I’ll explain:

That morning, exactly a week ago, I couldn’t get to sleep, so I started to think (as usual)

One of my thoughts was: I have to sleep, it’s 7 am and today is going to be as common as usual.

It wasn’t; it was the first time I thought something like that, though.

At 12 pm my sister wakes me up saying: “Ayelen, c’mon wake up, our grandfather is sick and feels bad”  U.U

I jumped off the bed and asked HOW bad he was. He had a terrible pain in his stomach. My grandmother and uncle took him to hospital and, after an hour, he was in surgery.

He had an hernia which perforated his intestine. If they had waited at least one hour more, he would have died cause it was really bad.

So basically, my sisters and I stayed home alone the whole week. Mom and grandma came home very late and my uncle spent the night with him. They were exhausted.

I got to visit him the third day which I didn’t want at all. I’m terrified of hospitals, diseases, doctors, and bruises  :P But I had to forget all my fears, which I did, and spent five hours there!

I have to admit that you listen to all kind of cases there, for example, the man who was in the bed next to him, had been shot by stealers and it had ruined all his organs. He survived after all :D But working at hospitals is stressing.

My grandfather had his ups and downs, for moments, he couldn’t breath and needed oxygen, sometimes he had back pain, but he went through all that and today, he’s home! :D

I’ve tried to be optimistic as always, and it worked. Hope is the best :)

As of school, I have one week of holidays left. I start classes again on 8th of March (L)  But hey, there’s no other option :P So, wish me luck !

I wanna meet YOU! - Filed Under Family

7 Feb 2010

I’ve always wondered where I come from. Specially when all the people I know meet their foreign relatives. Seriously, I get extremely jealous (in a good way) that they get in touch. Even though they live miles away, they know that they belong to the same family in any way.

I have added “relatives” with the same surnames to my facebook account, too! But it seems not to work.

Always the same answers from my family: Your blood is armenian, italian, french, spanish, and OH you’re argentinian, too. Your great grandmother was born here!

It’s a big mix of cultures. I believe that’s why I love turism SO freaking much :P

A month ago, I talked to my father’s side grandmother for the first time about it.

She said: “I don’t know any relatives from Armenia. My sister was born in Bulgaria. My parents had ran away from Armenia because of the war and they had to find a place to live. The only thing I know is that we have relatives is Greece” (She was born here)

WHAAA!? Where? Who are them!? that was my answer! LOL. I wanted to know more.

She said she didn’t even know their names :( Sad, Sad! I believe the only person who knows about it very well is a man from my family that I really, really dislike. I haven’t spoken to him in ages.

So, for now, I won’t meet any of them :(

Do you have relatives living in another country, far away from you?

Hey guys! – It’s me again xD

I’m writing this blog while I wait for glee’s episode to finish loading ;) Only 9 mins left. LOL.

TBH, It’s the first one. I have seen part of the plot, but It never loaded again, so I’ll start with the first!

Hopefully I’ll watch the first part of the first season before the second starts xD

A few friends recommended me this serie and I felt like watching it online, actually it was on today but I wouldn’t watch the episode #12 out of 13 without watching the previous ones -.-

Moving along.

During the long wait I came across this website called Travel Images and was surprised of the amazing pictures that it contains, but I also noticed about the horrid CSS it has! Like wtf xD

Mine is not awesome but the site is too good to have such a bad look, don’t ya think?

BTW — you can see Argentina’s pictures :P I hardly notice how BEAUTIFUL it is, really. Having such shitty inhabitants xD (Most people here need education)

Anyway. It’s almost 4 am and I have to get up 7 am to renew my ID. Here when you turn 16 you have to “update” it, you know. I’m a bit nervous about my picture. HAHA I know I’ll look terrible though :/

I went to the hairdresser for that! Maybe it’ll help tomorrow xD

PS: My website’s layout looks like a crappy old-styled one with ugly and bright colors so I’ll be making a new one these days I promise!!

Two days ago, two friends and I went to watch Daybreakers. I HATED THAT MOVIE, IT’S SHIT hahaha
I didn’t like the monsters and sound effects u.u So I won’t recommend it, but if you want to spend your precious money on something you won’t like, it’s fine!
Then we had a Frapuccino at Starbucks (L) My friend Caroline and me are hugeeee fans of it!
We have Frapuccino Dulce de Leche crème :O It’s amazing
Do you guys like Frapuccinos? What is your favourite flavor?
